Installation

For the larger systems, our team of technicians are well versed in discreet installations. Our reputation is based upon reliable, tidy cable runs installed with the minimum of fuss and disruption.

No job is too difficult - some more interesting projects have included a 100 acre wildlife park and a 30 acre zoo, both with underground cable routes and in one instance a horizontal bore under the public highway.

The process begins with a site survey, undertaken by our installation manager, who will decide upon the best route and order for the installation. Liaison with the site manger and other contractors is common with new building projects. From there, work dates are agreed when the necessary data lines and communication equipment is installed and terminated. If required, power conditioning and stabilisation are specified and arrangements are made for electrical contractors to provide the relevant connections. Upon completion, the installation is thoroughly tested, prior to installation of the EPOS hardware and subsequent staff training. The installation manager is on-hand throughout the process to answer queries and make alternative decisions where needed.
